THE EXPERIENCE
FITTING
Fitting and testing of the Arc'teryx Sylan 2. Selected participants will be provided with a Sylan 2 in the size indicated, to be used during the Community Trail Run.
TRAIL
Guided, non-competitive community trail run on Lake Maggiore.
RECOVERY
Post-run refuel and community moment.
Experienced guides and pacers accompany the group along the whole route.

The Sylan 2 Community Trail Run will take place on a single day. Indicate which date you prefer among 17, 18 and 19 September: the date with the highest availability will be prioritised. The final date will be confirmed by the organisers to selected participants.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Answers to the most common questions about the request, the selection and the day of the event.
Do I need to be an experienced trail runner?
No: the run is non-competitive and groups are formed by pace. A basic running fitness is required though: the form asks about your experience and volumes precisely to build balanced groups.
How are the 40 participants selected?
We collect up to 500 requests and select 40 runners. If you are selected you will receive an acceptance email with the instructions to confirm your participation.
Can I choose the date?
You can indicate your preferred date among 17, 18 and 19 September. The event will take place on just one of the three dates: the one with the highest availability will be prioritised, subject to organisational needs. The final date will be communicated to selected participants.
How do the Sylan 2 fitting and test work?
In the request you will indicate your size and preferred fit. Confirmed participants will be assigned a Sylan 2 in the most suitable available size for the test during the event.
What should I bring?
Running clothes and whatever you normally use for a trail run. Practical details are emailed to selected participants.
What if the weather is bad?
The guides assess the conditions and, if necessary, adapt the route or the programme. Every update reaches participants by email.
Is there a refreshment?
Yes: back at VIETTI there is a lunch box for all participants. In the final details form you can indicate your dietary profile and allergies.
How will I know if I have been selected?
You will receive an acceptance email with the link to the final details form: final size, dietary profile and emergency contact.

The meeting point is VIETTI, Corso Repubblica 38, Arona. Welcome, check-in, briefing and Sylan 2 fitting will take place here before the start.
