Barbour

Barbour was founded in 1894 in South Shields by John Barbour and is still based there; the company, J. Barbour and Sons, trades as Barbour and works under the Barbour and Barbour International names. Its ground is waxed cotton outerwear, to which ready-to-wear, footwear and accessories have been added.

At VIETTI, a family boutique since 1952 in Arona, on Lake Maggiore, the Barbour selection is for women and men and is built around outerwear from the current season: the Beadnell waxed jacket with its quilted and lightweight versions, the Modern Beaufort and Kirkless raincoats in coated cotton, the Liddesdale, Ogston Wax and Annandale quilted jackets, the New Lowerdale and Betty vests and the Transport jackets, then beanie and scarf sets such as Carlton and Saltburn, and the Barbour x Ganni jacket. The selection is updated with every delivery.

Barbour outerwear is listed in UK sizes; the cut is mostly regular, relaxed or slim on some models and cropped on a few lightweight jackets, as stated on each product page together with the composition and the country of manufacture declared by the brand. The fabric of each jacket, waxed cotton, quilted nylon or polyester, is stated on the product page.
