COMMUNITY TRAIL RUN RULES
Nature of the event
The event is a guided, non-competitive Community Trail Run. There is no ranking, no official timing and no performance-related prizes.
Participation
Participation is reserved for adults, spots are limited and participation is subject to confirmation by the organisers. Submitting a request does not guarantee a spot.
Course and guides
The group is accompanied by guides and pacers. Participants agree to stay on the indicated route, follow the guides’ instructions and not leave the group.
Fitness and safety
Participation is reserved for people who are at least 18 years old. Participants declare, under their own responsibility, that they are in good health and have a level of physical fitness adequate for trail running on natural paths with elevation gain, and undertake to inform the guides, before the start, of any relevant condition. The guides may exclude from the activity, at any time, anyone who does not appear to be in fit condition or does not follow their instructions, without this giving any right to a refund or compensation.
Equipment
The Arc’teryx Sylan 2 footwear is provided to confirmed participants for the fitting and the test during the activity; the conditions of any final assignment will be communicated by the organisers. The list of mandatory equipment and the required fitness level are communicated to selected participants before the event; anyone arriving without the indicated equipment may be excluded for safety reasons.
Changes, postponements and cancellations
The organisers may change the route, schedule or date, or cancel the activity, for safety, weather or organisational reasons.
Conduct and environment
Respectful behaviour towards other participants, residents and the natural environment is required. Littering along the route is not allowed.
Photo and video
Photographs and video footage will be produced during the event. By accepting the release in the final details form, the confirmed participant authorises VIETTI & LEVORATO S.r.l., free of charge and without time limits, to use their image and voice on the VIETTI and Arc’teryx Instagram channels, in VIETTI newsletters and in press communications related to the event, excluding any use detrimental to personal dignity. The authorisation may be withdrawn for the future by writing to info@viettishop.com; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of uses already made or of printed materials already produced.
Liability
Trail running on natural terrain involves inherent risks (falls, uneven ground, weather conditions) that the participant declares to know and accept, undertaking to behave prudently and to follow the guides’ instructions. VIETTI & LEVORATO S.r.l. is liable for damage caused by wilful misconduct or gross negligence of its own or of the persons it relies on, within the limits of the law; any liability is excluded for damage resulting from the participant’s imprudent conduct, from failure to follow instructions or from the inadequacy of personal equipment. The details of the organiser’s insurance coverage are published on this page before the event; each participant is advised to have their own personal accident cover.
