The Filson "Journeyman" casual backpack, crafted from tightly woven waxed canvas, is waterproof thanks to a heavy paraffin impregnation. The 2-by-3-thread industrial twill, supplied by British Millerain, is chosen for its abrasion resistance. Padded, contoured shoulder straps made of waxed canvas, lined internally with cotton fustian, ensure a snug fit and breathability, while the hooks are made of vegetable-tanned bridle leather.
